Little known medical resource – “allo docteur” (Hello Doctor)

What happens if you are sick and your doctor’s surgery is closed?

There is a little known service that is available after 8 pm, at weekends and public holidays. It is called “Hello Doctor” and was introduced last year to help avoid unnecessary travel. By calling 3966 you will be connected with a qualified doctor who will listen, evaluate the situation and then recommend a course of action. The doctor can provide you with medical advice over the phone; refer you to a doctor on duty close by, or refer you to the emergency services.

However, if you think a life is in danger, do not hesitate to call 112 or 15 (SAMU).
