Confirmation marks the point in the Christian journey at which you affirm for yourself the faith into which you have been baptised and your intention to live a life of committed discipleship. This affirmation is confirmed through prayer and the laying on of hands by the confirming bishop. The Church also asks God to give you power through the Holy Spirit to enable you to live in the way of Jesus.

Ten years after she started to worship with us, at the age of 4, we are delighted that Ellie was confirmed by
Bishop Robert, at a very happy and relaxed service which was followed by a shared supper, including a cake baked and iced by Ellie.  During the  service, Ellie sang for us "For the Beauty of the Earth" by John Rutter.

Just nine months after the creation of our chaplaincy, we had the joy of presenting six young candidates to Bishop David for confirmation. This very happy occasion was followed by a bring and share lunch.

Alice's Confirmation - 16 October 2016

Alice affirmed her faith before Bishop David, Roger our Chaplain, her family and some 50 members of the congregation of All Saints Hérault. She was given a lighted candle, symbolising the light of Christ, and a Holy Bible.
