Note about the May 2016 Prayer Diary

 "Julie is sorry that she won't be able to produce a prayer diary for May because she's still in 'rehab' after a serious back operation.  Please pray for her, that she might make a complete recovery and be almost as 'good as new'"

 

April Prayer Diary

Friday 1st April: Friday of Easter week

Pray for the refugees fleeing violence in their home country

Saturday 2nd April: Saturday of Easter Week

Pray for organisations like Medecins sans Frontiers who are looking after the refugees.

Sunday 3rd April: 2nd Sunday of Easter

Pray for all those going to the Breakfast Club this morning.

Monday 4th April

Pray for the leaders of the warring factions of Syria, that some way to bring peace to that country may be found.

Tuesday 5th April

Pray for the Christians who face persecution for their faith. May they feel the Lord’s presence with them.

Wednesday 6th April

Pray for those going to the Prayer Group meeting this morning at St Joseph’s

Thursday 7th April

Pray for all those who are seeking to know God’s will.

Friday 8th April

Pray for those on the fringes of our society, for the poor, the weak and the lonely.

Saturday 9th April

On the day commemorating Dietrich Bonhoeffer, pray for all those walking in the valley of the shadow of death, that it may lead them to a new life.

Sunday 10th April: 3rd Sunday of Easter

Pray for all those who attend services at St Pargoire. May we all reflect God’s love.

Monday 11th April

Pray that we may learn to love each other and accept each other more every day.

Tuesday 12th April

Pray for those who tonight will go sleep hungry.

Monday 13th April

Pray for those who have been or still are, victims of human trafficking.

Tuesday 14th April

Pray for our priest Roger that he may have the strength and courage and support to do God’s work.

Wednesday 15th April

Holy Spirit teach us how to live in humility and be aware of the presence of Jesus, in the whole of our lives

Thursday 16th April  

Pray that we may find hope and peace even in the most difficult situations.

Sunday 17th April: 4th Sunday of Easter

 Pray that we remember at every moment how much God loves us.

Monday 18th April

Pray for those who work for understanding between people of different coloured skins or different races.

Tuesday 19th April

Pray for those who are ill in hospital, especially those known to us.

Wednesday 20th April

Pray for those children who are being abused in whatever way, not just in Europe but all over the world.  

Thursday 21st April

Pray for the work of Emmaus and for all those who are in need.

Friday 22nd April

 Pray for those with learning difficulties and for those who care for them.

Saturday 23rd April: St George

Give thanks to God for our families and all who mean something special to us.

Sunday 24th April:5th Sunday of Easter

Pray for those children who are being abused in whatever way, not just in Europe but all over the world.

Monday 25th April: St Mark

Pray that those in our troubled world, who hold extremist views, may see the light of reconciliation

Tuesday 26th April

Pray for a closer understanding between Anglicans and Roman Catholics.

Wednesday April 27th  

Thank God for the beauty of His creation, for the new Spring season.

Thursday 28th April

Pray for the work of CSF, for those who suffer from cancer and for those who work to help them

Friday 29th April:  St Catherine of Siena

Pray for all those working to improve working conditions, especially in developing countries.

Saturday 30th April  

Pray for those who work in schools, especially in the schools in our own villages and towns in France.
